When I can't get the chatterbox to shut up!

No, this time I'm not talking about the kiddo. This time it's my internal chatterbox blasting lies, shame, and ideas of hopelessness about my current situation. I was given a critical review today over a project I've been working on that is due to release at the end of May. I have no one to talk to about it except God, hubby, and the dogs because I've been instructed by the Lord to keep several things going on in my life quiet for 150 days (started Jan 1, 2018). Yes, I know it's a weird number...and what's 150 days got to do with it? I had to ask for myself, "Lord, if I don't find it in your Word (Bible) then I'm going to dismiss it." Sure enough Noah's Ark was afloat & the earth was completely flooded for that 150 days. You can read that for yourself here. Genesis 7:24 "And the waters prevailed on earth one hundred and fifty days." There you have it...Noah, didn't have anyone to talk to either except the animals, his family & God. So...here I am.

That critical review was complete truth, but that didn't make it any more emotionally distraught to hear it. Truth is hard! It listed all the things I had done wrong. It had pointed out things that could be changed that I thought was good. It came with a written voice like a teacher with the red pen checking every point, and there was NO smiley faces. Ha...it took me back to elementary education. It's clear I had some red marks back then, huh? Which all of that says "Yvonne, you did bad, you are bad, and it's pointless!" Anybody else? I wanted to quit tonight for a half a second...then I remembered. I have tools in my toolbox for this. These are lies from the pits of hell. I can do this, I will show them, and even if I don't complete it...guess what?  I learned some things, I am better for it, and it'll help someone later. I have found that most of the experiences I've been through is so I can better relate & help someone else later. I will continue to try at least thru the 150 days. What are my tools??

Thankfully I had recently finished a book called Crash The Chatterbox: Hearing God's voice above all others. In the book there's a part where the author asks "What great deeds are in danger of remaining undone in your life because of lies that were planted in your past or fears that are looming in your future?" This is almost the exact sentence I use in my practice.

My other way of shutting up the chatter is to process it thru aromas. What?! Yes, it's called aroma freedom technique. You know how you smell pie & it reminds you of grandma's house...that's how this works. It's a simple 12 step process that I fell in love with because I was able to process stuff I didn't even know I was holding on to. I was able to process in 30 mins what I couldn't touch in typical counseling for 3 years. I loved the simplicity of it so much that I went and got my certification in the technique. From my pains, my business was born. The relationships I've built from this practice are so humbling, the beautiful testimonies on the website, and reviews on my Facebook & Instagram business pages called Release & Believe. Why did I call my business name that? It's biblical personal to me in regards to releasing my all to God, believing in Him, but it also names the last two oils needed for the aroma session. My pain was turned into a passion & it gave me purpose. What more could I ask for? God has turned ashes to beauty...and I get to watch and partake others in healing.

So if you're overwhelmed, stressed out, and can't begin to shut off the chatter...let me give you a 60 second technique that you can do for yourself. You will need 3 oils; Stress Away, Frankincense, and Lavender. 1 drop each in the less dominant hand, rub counterclockwise with dominant hand...then inhale. That's it. Watch what happens. It's amazing! No it won't do a complete clearing & transformation like an entire session, but it will get you over the hump. It's a simple self-care.

You can get those needed 3 oils under products here, but if you'd like to how to save more money on those products...comment below, email me yvonne@yvonnerentschler.com, come talk to me on social media on the links above, or contact me here.

Update: as soon as I posted this I got a message from my red check mark critical review: I'll be sure to go to bed smiling now! Don't give up!

The Silver lining...

has appeared when I've been struck to the core, talk about a whole new level of Grandma got ran over by a reindeer.

I woke from a dream of an old lady beating me w/ a cane...the old lady within that is! We've all heard of the inner child, but this would be my first in such an experience of the old lady within. In my profession now which came after years of recovery regarding the inner child who's voice was silenced, I'm blessed to watch the voices come alive for others through my aromatherapy practice. As the wisdom highlights ever so increase upon my head which can be seen by others, has nothing tho on the cane, walker, and being internally ran over by the lady in a wheelchair from within.

Wake up call...the days are going faster, my birthdays are coming sooner, and I'm hitting a benchmark of a birthday this next year that if I am anything like those women before me...I've lived 50% of my life already. The old lady is very loudly stating that she doesn't like the added assistance, and I have a chance to change all that. While I laugh...it hurts to think about the side effects that everyone feels when their health or mental wellness has deteriorated. I also know that living life does mean age increases but it doesn't mean that I've got to fall into the trap that all the decisions I make daily doesn't make a difference to how my body & brain will function in the future. I don't want to be mindlessly living.

We all know that our family lives more on the holistic side of living so we are still considered to be "weirdos" to most, but we are going to be amping that lifestyle up. When I realized that my labs showed in the last blog post the reversal of so many co-morbidities like diabetes, thyroid, cholesterol, and we haven't been sick with the "crud" like so many have been already...there's something to say for that. After taking care of Grandma who had Alzheimer's, nothing wants me to make sure everyone knows how important emotional health is to physical health...holding skeletons in our closets & not dealing with them leads to major health issues. Please know that no one ever has to share the details of their stories to be released of the affects of harboring those emotions whether you "feel" like you are holding on or not.

After a successful 6 months of being a full time entrepreneur, helping other's release their stumbling blocks in life & business; I am going to be courageous by restructuring my Release & Believe practice this new year...looking forward to a new project in store that will make it fall more within the guidelines of ministry. Wishing you all a very intentional
Happy New Year!

You're invited if you been thru some....

...$%!83!\!!!!!

What the heck is going on around us? Have you noticed? If you think outside yourself at all....someone has something big going on. Cancer, autism, surgery, tumors, dementia, mental health, depression, suicide, food allergies, skin conditions, chronic pain, death, and diagnosis' are on a rampage...and why? Have we really thought about it, and if we have thought about it; are we doing anything to change it? For me I know our food supply is crap. It's processed with lots of chemicals, hormones, blah blah blah. Our environmental toxins have reached an all time high. Our water that flows through the faucets haven't been safe for years. Do we really care about the future generations...our children, the neighbors children, and all the children's children? I'm saddened for the newest generations being born as I write this. Technology isn't making it any better much less social media...we've went mad. We don't dare let our cell phones die. The children in today's society spends more time talking through a screen and never seeing their family at the dinner table, much less getting outside to have physical social encounters that turn into lifetime friendships.

Don't get me wrong...I'm thankful for computers, internet, and FB at the moment to be able to notify way more people about what is going on currently in our lives involving Koda. I would hate to spend that many hours re-explaining all the details over the phone to each one. Does anyone take care of the neighbors, widows, orphans, and friends anymore? Do you even know your neighbors, much less what they're going thru. I remember taking dinners for a family that had surgery, or just had a baby. I remember babysitting the neighbor kids to give parents a break without expecting anything. What about going to relieve a caregiver at the hospital or nursing home? Do we volunteer at all? Now we can't trust anyone...everyone hates someone it seems either by occupation, color of skin, financial status, political party. I'm so sick of it all. What has happened to mankind?

Entitled brats! I know a lot of people don't fall into this bracket but society as a whole has. My heart is hurting for everyone right now. So I think once we get through this PET scan this week...we're throwing a party. WTF/H/Whatever Party...let's enjoy each other, hug each other, take a minute off our phones and connect while we eat, share our stories, and maybe even well I'm pretty sure we'll drink. Coping skills look different to all of us, and no I haven't went off on the deep end. I'm trying to touch on the angry momma part right now so I don't explode in inappropriate places or ways. I'm sure I'm pretty pissed off about our current situation along with what others are dealing with. I'm sorry! I wish I could fix it, but it begins with us. Me...and so I invite you...have a party and find your support because these journeys aren't easy. By the grace of God we will endure. Hugs to each and every single one of you! My heart hurts.

(By the way, I'm very serious about this party...if you are within my local realm; let me know you'll come) These may be crazy posts over the next few weeks/months, don't say I didn't warn you.
